About Me

Originally from Richmond, Va., I am a senior pursuing a B.S. degree in journalism at Texas Christian University. I am double minoring in creative writing as well as film and media studies.

This past summer, I served as a college associate for Fox News Media. I interned for the booking department in Washington, D.C., where I coordinated guest logistics, drafted departmental communications and ensured smooth on-air appearances.

At TCU, I currently work for TCU 360, TCU's student-run media outlet. I have three positions on the staff.

After serving on TCU 360's audience engagement team for a year, I was promoted to audience engagement editor. In this role, I oversee the audience engagement team. The team creates and manages campaigns on Canva that coincide with TCU 360 coverage. They schedule the campaigns on Later Social, where they are then posted to social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Each campaign has a unique UTM code that allows the team to track web traffic on Parse.ly. The team is also in charge of creating semi-weekly digital newsletters on Mailchimp that are sent out to TCU 360 subscribers.

I am also a line editor for TCU 360, where I edit stories from student journalists for story flow, relevancy and clarity. I ensure that they are in pristine publishing condition.

Lastly, I am an anchor and a scriptwriter for The Leap, TCU 360's pop culture talkshow. I attend weekly pitch meetings and filming sessions to produce recent and trustworthy pop culture content.

I am a driven student who is always excited about new opportunities.
