About Me

Originally from Richmond, Va., I am a junior pursuing a B.S. degree in journalism at Texas Christian University. I am double minoring in creative writing as well as film and media studies. I currently work for TCU 360, TCU's student-run media outlet. I have three positions on the staff.

I am a line editor for TCU 360, where I edit stories from student journalists for story flow, relevancy and clarity. I ensure that they are in pristine publishing condition.

Additionally, I am a part of TCU 360's audience engagement team. I create and manage campaigns on Canva that coincide with TCU 360 coverage. I schedule the campaigns on Later Social, where they are posted to social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook. Each campaign has a UTM code that tracks and measures analytics on Parse.ly. The team is also in charge of creating semi-weekly digital newsletters on Mailchimp that are sent out to TCU 360 subscribers.

Lastly, I am an anchor, a scriptwriter and social media manager for The Leap, TCU 360's pop culture talkshow. I attend weekly pitch meetings and filming sessions to produce recent and trustworthy pop culture content. I also oversee The Leap’s social media presence on Instagram where I feature members on the staff and promote weekly episodes.

I am a driven student who is always excited about new opportunities.
